Research

Admittedly new to the research game, my main interest thus far regards motion dazzle, or dazzle camouflage, and how such conspicuous patterning can, if at all, distort an onlooker\'s perception. A life-long fascination in military endeavours too supplements this interest, both regarding the naval origins of motion dazzle and its modern ground-conflict applications.

Biography

The University of Bristol has served as home for both my undergraduate and current postgraduate ventures. I graduated in the summer of 2015 with first-class honours in Zoology (BSc) and am now undertaking an MSc(Res) (research masters) with supervision from Dr. Nick Scott-Samuel and Prof. Innes Cuthill. The topic of the latter is broadly considering the effects of motion dazzle upon speed assessment.
