Dr Olivia Matthews

Research

In October 2012 I started a Ph.D. concerned with developing effective methods of camouflage with Mr Tim Volonakis, supervised by Dr Nick Scott-Samuel, Dr Roland Baddeley and Professor Innes Cuthill.

Biography

I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2012 with a B.Sc. in Experimental Psychology. For my 3rd year research project, I explored the influence of iridescent colouration (such as that displayed by species of bird and invertebrate) on velocity perception.
