Bird sense

Innes Cuthill co-hosted a Royal Society meeting on avian sensory biology, with Hannah Rowland (Cambridge) and Tom Pike (Lincoln), at the Royal Society's magnificent 'out-of-town' venue, Chicheley Hall. "When senses take flight: the evolution, development, mechanisms and function of avian senses" featured two days of talks from leading international sensory biologists and discussion on new directions in avian sensory research.
